Meet The Team: A Day In The Life Of… Our Chief Executive Officer
Can you tell us a bit about what your job involves?
Predominantly managing the senior team and ensuring that we deliver strategies to help the business achieve its targets across multiple departments. A lot of reviewing reports from the team and compiling reports and analysis for our chairman and shareholders. Key decisions making and competitive analysis. I oversee the product development and management teams, commercial team, supply chain and our HR department.
So, what does your average day look like for you?
There isn’t really an average day in my job, they’re all very different! I normally work quite long hours. When I first get in the office I check what meetings I have for the day and any appointments scheduled before checking our latest sales numbers and reports sent in from the team. I like to check in with all of the team as often as I can to see if I can support them. Key decisions often get sent to me for the final decision.
What do you think is the best thing about working at Aqualisa?
The people here are fantastic! I also enjoy being able to get things done and help the company to achieve its targets.
What are you most looking forward to in the year ahead?
Working with our amazing team to deliver the strategies that we are putting in place and working towards new targets.
And finally, can you tell us a bit more about yourself?
Favourite food: I love Italian food!
Favourite drink: Red wine, especially Italian wine. Italian food and Italian red wine together is my ideal meal.
Favourite sport: Tennis
One thing your colleagues don’t know about you: I think I’m quite an open book, most of my team know me pretty well! I once got to meet Prince Charles!
